@SLAWTHz Not really with power. It's simply because he realized just fooling around is not gonna be enough after losing Isla.
@SLAWTHz in the web norvel, there's was actually a flashback before the MC's speech about taking over the world. In the flashback we get to know what the 2nd best player of eternal nation thought about our MC. He stated that the MC has a bad habbit of fooling around at the beginning of a game which normally would cause him to be in a bad situation, but the mc would always somehow win in the end.
Also the authour also set some mystery around the mc saying how the 2nd best player was scared of the MC.
So prehaps the MC was always like this and being in this situation just bring that part of him out more
