Also, she may have been strong enough to kill him back then. The fact that she did not did it says a lot about her patience.

Second sentence, yes, but in a world of political marriages, if the best girl is killing her partner (she was not joking) maybe she is not the best, but let's disregard that 🙂

@Ellundril It's hard to say w/o seeing how bad he really was.  In a "world of political marriages", if he is bad enough, it could lead not only him to ruin, but her as well.  It's one thing if he was just a jerk.  If he was a jerk *and* incompetent, marriage would be dangerous to her family.

All you have to do is play crusader kings 2 or 3 for a bit and you'll quickly start thinking in these terms.  Sometimes, accidents happen.  Other times, they NEED to happen.
