@emma Espers are basically the ones who fight. But using their powers creates a poison within themselves and it gets spread if not treated properly. Or, they get injured normally and need people to treate them.
Guides are basically the healers and they kinda remove these for them with the help of physical contact. The more the physical contact, the more the powers are used.
But of course, not everyone's comfortable with s** which's like the highest form of healing/guidance and that's why our MC here is willing to work with low level Espers.
