Well, in school I was taught to hug my enemies instead. At that time after I had fight with some classmate, teacher would forced me to hug with that person and that feel shít. So from parents, I was taught to bow and touch other person feet to show love and respect instead of hug. Also, I don't have a gf and I haven't achieved that much in life to celebrate with hugs.
