I feel like I'm going to be hated but I still prefer the ML (Guys please let me cook before yall come for my a**) 
Because if PEOPLE FORGOT, his WHOLE family was killed by her father and therefore, he just wanted to avenge his family, by killing his WHOLE family because it would make it only fair. Being blinded with revenge he didn't want the bloodline that killed his family to survive so he killed everyone.
He's just a broken character that needs to move on and HEAL from the past and face the presents but he's currently living in the past but little by little, he's slowly starting to live in the present by the FLs presence. Like, I get that he killed her like 4-5 times but he just broken and blinded by avenging his family.
WHILE, the 2ML just saw her, first glance and was like "Imma marry her because she looks pretty" like I feel like if you ask him what he likes about her, he would probably have one thing to say. Also unlike the ML, he killed slaves because he just doesn't like them, like do yall really want an ML who kills people just because he doesn't like them?
He also sound really possessive and obsessed, like one of those ML who lock up the FL and not let go of her, probably making her not want to be another man other than himself.
Like do people really want HIM as a ML? I wouldn't
