Renato suffered a lot in his first life before he regressed. Being treated badly, outcasted, unwanted, manipulated, and even used for financial gain.
It's not that Renato's weak. It's a trauma response. He has flashbacks to when he was killed and stabbed by Maximo, flashbacks to when people talked bad about him for being a Beta, flashbacks to when all the people he loved had gotten themselves killed before his eyes.
You can't just fault Renato for having a human response.

@potato Cause this is a REALISTIC character, not everyone is born a genius, there are people that are scared and traumatised, he's carely showing signs of intense PTSD which is affecting him from his past that's not something you cab easily shake off lol
