@black Panther you can address the specific and distinct phenomena of stochholm syndrome without sullying the broad spectrum that is trauma bonding.

Grace may display the attachment, but none of the sympathy that you would expect from SS. If given the opportunity, where she could live and destroy him, at this moment, she would still take it.
4th Wave is Schrödinger's Feminism. A woman is simultaneously empowered and oppressed. Her status is determined by which one she percieves as advantageous in any given situation.

@PurrpiTator Fair point, but trauma bonding and Stockholm syndrome overlap more than people think. The attachment doesn’t have to come with sympathy or forgiveness  sometimes it’s just emotional dependence mixed with confusion. Grace clearly shows that conflict ,she hates him, yet can’t detach. That’s exactly how trauma bonds work
@PurrpiTator Also In reality, trauma bonding doesn’t require sympathy, Victims can hate their abuser and still feel attached because their emotions were manipulated over time.
