@DarkVikita i recomned you actuallly dont look up polygamy in the medival ages since it was simply a normal thing. The duke had SIX WIVES but you only get iks when its not a main character.
its just a diffrent time than today with diffrent values.

its normalized to murder in war back then
we dont expect our leaders to kill people in a war.
Times change but becuase we are desensitized to certain stuff (IE violence) so when we see something else we consider "weird" or "not kind" or "blah blah uncomfy" thats just hypocrysy since we are trying to understant their world (yknow like reading) but only accept certain parts of it.

@kiwikiwiwithmorekiwis Well, he had six wives in the first timeline because each one died and was replaced, no? It’s not like he married all six at the same time...or am I wrong?

@kiwikiwiwithmorekiwis nah, I get it all.
Just kind of frustrated me when they claim to care so much for one yet still fool around with another and seem to have feelings for another.
Idk might just be with how ive grown up with feeling that if you love someone and actually have an emotional bond with them, you shouldn't have someone else beside you who is supposedly fulfilling that role as well.
But again, thats just how I was raised.
I know that polygamy was common back in history with concubines and such and most of the time it was for politics or breeding purposes.
What im not liking is that there WASNT a purpose behind the emperor having another woman aside from his "beloved" empress. Thats what im saying.
