Honestly I feel like the hate against him is kinda forced especially since Ik everyone hates him now but they're gonna switch up like how they did with Claude because if we've read the same story his situation is exactly like Claude's. Example Claude used black magic to forget Diane because her death hurt him which resulted in him neglecting Athy until later in the future when the balck magic started to fade and everyone forgave him as for mister angry tower master here the woman he loved said she doesn't love him blah blah blah and he sealed his heart off to not be hurt again which means even if he wanted to he couldn't have any affection towards her unless the spell is broken and since he doesn't care for her he has no reason to break it but the moment the spell is broken and they start to form a close relationship people are gonna suddenly like him it's annoying.
