@Vani Fabi I can give you some information! In the past, Jooyeon and Jiwook were friends in middle school. Jiwook was homophobic and gang graped Jooyeon with his friends. He publicly humiliated Jooyeon, exploited him and left jooyeon with a vibrator in him in the bathroom, saying he'd come back but the day went by and he never did-Jooyeon was then discovered by the janitor and when his mother heard about this, she ended up in a mental hospital. This assault continued for about a year. I think this was when they were 14 years old, so now this is Jooyeon getting revenge.

( he did all of that to Jooyeon because Jooyeon had a crush on him, he also led Jooyeon on an drove him to confusion - there's a lot more which is what happens in the novel
