@Aman403  I've read the same thing, but apparently in the novel the relationship between them dosent have the same level of affection that potrait in the manga. Even tho they do "flirt", its apparently alot more clear that its really not that serious between them, atleast in the beginning, apparently she starts to have more serious feelings later on, but it dosent have the same level as dissapointment as it would have for people who only read the manga where, even tho the flirting still has "comic undertones", they both seem to be showing have very clear fellings since because as suppose to the novel where its apparently pretty clear all the way through that he always sees har as a diciple first, and he thinks of them as "his children" which prevents his interest to actually become romantic. (again this is what i have seen on reddit, but even tho i havent read the novel, i read it from multiple people on different threads so it seems legit)
