@FALCONWORTH them meeting in the way they did fits better into the story than him all of a sudden meeting some random ahh cindy lou while traveling and being head over heels for her 

her and jin meeting when jin didn't have anyone else other than mr.hwang looking out for him and then her almost sacrifing herself for him during those times works so much better into the story and into being another reason for Jin to fight so hard

@SecretSweets Bro what happened during their childhood and how they separated doesn't justify the sudden romance. Like we could all tell from the start that she was going to be the female lead but it's execution of their second meeting that's unsatisfying. It felt random and rushed. I was hoping that her gradually regaining her memories and having some psychological warfare within after some exchanges with the MC would be it's own mini story. But it felt like the author just used her to trigger an event that would in turn trigger a timeskip. The fact that he was ready to throw everything away and put his followers' lives at risk was just the dumb part
