@lvlHive Typhus fevers are a group of diseases caused by bacteria that are spread to humans by fleas, lice.
It's really a bad one considering he doesn't have antibiotics available

@Simon Probably, typhus, though the army also dealt at some point with influenza, dysentry and (not relevant) probably frostbite at some point while in Russia.
