@Hobbies_Leaves they did go to something like a festival, it was not them wo would start the firework, asian countrys have several festivals were the ones who organise the festival will start at some point a firework. at last thats what i did see in movies, comics and animes.
here in western lands, in some ocasions there is sometimes too a firework as a highlight of a big festival.
nowdays, most dont smoke, most dont need a lighter, so its resonable that he didnot had one. if you would start a fire how he did and without experience in that way to start a fire, he would need at last hours to start it....if he is lucky and did use the right wood for the drill and the fireboard. if not he would never be able to start it.
