I'm pretty sure the reason that giant master (forgot his name) made this whole duel and let mc accept the skeleton as his master was because he wanted to win against him for once. It said before that they always fought but it was always a tie so the giant master probably thought if their disciples fought and one of them won then it would mean the winner's master is stronger.
