True, it's frustrating! [pepe:0] and He's way too OP so how on earth he didn't sense that, plot holes indeed, Author was trying to add some tearjerker scene but failed on execution.
@. Tbh, sometimes emotion could cloud your senses. After all, he's still human. It's quiet understandable that he is unable to sense the monster when he's so overwhelmed with emotions. He was crying and sh**.
