I think his father used to love Ah Qing when he was young. But, his thinking, (teacher student can't date) never gave him courage to express his love. Now he is forcing his thinking on his Son. And if that not the case then I can understand it's hard for people under same gender love. But he also said that he knew Ah Qing loved him for years, then what is this behaviour, he hurt him for 19 years, didn't he felt guilty? What he wants? What he feels? What is he thinking? I really don't understand him.

he's a selfish ass****. He knows MC is suffering but he keeps being kind to him and makes him stay by his side using his feelings.
MC should leave him but I guess he couldn't do it, he sees him like a family now.
@Mioumiou indeed he is selfish. If I could I would have slapped him right across his face and asked him what the fu*k you want.
