I'm honestly conflicted. I hate how she's using him & trying to get rid of him. but I get why she is doing it & I feel for her and all the trauma she experienced.
At the same time I'm also mad at him for cheating on her while they were engaged but at the same time their engagement wasnt the typical kind. They were engaged as children and he was made to believe it was solely for his looks (which it technically was) and not him as a whole.

I think she was only planning to divorce him for absolute freedom not only for her but also for him since, he obviously showed no interest for her at the beginning. But soon enough both of them will realize it eventually since they're the main characters. Tho, it'll be a long journey since fl went through a lot during her past lives. With regards to why she chose him, it was all to avoid marrying the crown prince and he fits the characteristics or qualifications she was looking in order for her plans to finally succeed. she brainwashed him. she was an adult in a child's body while carcel was really a child. but he's always been a man of his words, so when he said that he's gonna be a faithful husband... expect that it's true.
