I don't understand what you mean by tones, but I do understand that the author might be tired. The only thing I don't really like about the style is Red's new hairstyle. Well, how much hair she grew, I wish she kept it short or styled it better.
@Communication notice the shading from middle chapter to the last ones, you'd atleast three shades of a color for a shadows and highlight (more dept and 3d like effect, also has more details) while the last ones only have 2 shades ( looks more flat and bright). It's not bad, some artists like this more.
