No I read the novel ........spoiler alert  basically the og fl has her own moral beliefs and thinks everyone should follow it . Her view on things are really black and white to the point it sounds like a child talking . And because of that the fl is trying to show her that og's fl ideology is flawed . And it was that flaw that drove ml to suicide
