do you even know what toxic masculinity is? ahem its "a set of attitudes and ways of behaving stereotypically associated with or expected of men, regarded as having a negative impact on men and on society as a whole." and i dont think toxic masculinity is whats happening here, he's just a very short tempered person probably bc of trust issues and his past trauma, i mean his mom has a huge debt and he doesnt wanna owe anyone anything or want people to bother him + he has a big ego so he also doesnt want certain "acts of charity" that hurt his pride like refusing the money from jian yi. but i do believe he's a good person (an example of it is shown in the last panels) where he gets soft when he tian said that he doesnt want him to forget him. anyways happy reading
