In Russia , Sasha comes from Alexander.
It's a common male name in Russia and places around it 👍
It might mean something else since they are German but even if not then does it really matter?

Sasha is the short version of Alexander/Александр in russian(in case it s a guy) Alexandra/Александра in russian(in case it s a girl)
