It probaly means that he is sk happy that it doesnt matter if he dies
It's a common term used when u are extremely happy or u can also use " i'm over the moon" it's like imagine ur one of ur happiest moments , when u become so happy that nothing matters anymore that is when u say " i am so happy i can die right now"
