At this point, I’m too invested to stop reading. The main character is incredibly frustrating he somehow manages to get back on his feet after being beaten nearly to death by both his crush and a worm. Meanwhile, the professor is acting like a sore loser, willing to throw his life away simply because he’s emotionally distraught over a promise he failed to keep. If he truly values keeping promises, why is he now on the verge of breaking his word to his new students? To make matters worse, he’s been given an overpowered new arm, yet he continues to wallow in self pity.

@Sayless Cause thats how normal people who are a situation like that would react. its supposed to be frustrating its supposed to not make sense, it never does! Especially in real life where we have even less control over the things around us. That said im not saying you have to like it or that your feelings are invalid but, a story like this is built on putting PEOPLE in impossible situations and seeing how they act, react, and change.
