See! Noona wasn't a bi*** tho her words might be too harsh for our young boy's heart at that time but what she said make sense and it's really happening irl. I bet he wanted to really hate her but he can't, even tho her words were rude and hurtful, he knew to himself that she's just stating facts and that hurt more bc he can't blame anyone else not even himself. Ig he assumed and expected too much from Noona back then, just bc they have the same taste and click with each other he already considered she liked him too romantically without even confirming it and by the time he confronted her about his feelings she slap him with reality. Well, we already know this sh** but once again, this is a lesson learned especially to those who're still green in this kind of thing.

@Maomao Makes sense, but its still her fault for trying to push for a relationship when he feels uncomfortable with it. After rejection most people do feel akward and resent the other so him asking for distance is perfectley reasonable but her trying to close the gap hes conciously making is not ok at all.
@hamidjinx12 hamidjinx12 The thins is right, I agree with your statement but l think the ML is in the wrong for the majority because if he really doesn't want any relationship, he should it really clear for her but he isn't and hes dragging it out by simply ignoring her, l'll be honest the girl isn't actually in the wrong at all, yes she hurt him but she told him the truth earlier of which he actually can't hate her on and right now it seems like shes trying to be friends(I Don't Know Honestly). So basically I think he just needs to communicate his feelings better, if he doesn't want to see her just tell her, just my thoughts honestly, I do feel for him though of course anyone can get hurt from that but I realized myself that life moves on and learn from such things, don't allow such things affect you too much and let them go. IT IS WHAT IT IS !)

@ZebbeDrifter Agreed. I think hes making it pretty clear to her that he does not want to associate with her and while its not her fault entirely she should respect that he DOES NOT want to be friends with her or mantain any semblance of a relationship with her.

But tbh, what he's doing rn, him ignoring her and stuff was just his way to defend himself, a facade bc he got really hurt before and still a bit bitter about it but he's not mad or anything with Noona he just wanted to not get hurt anymore. And i don't believe he wanted her out of his life, as per the manhwa he's still longing for her bc what they shared and experienced before was precious, it can't be replaced. Rejection between two people leads to awkwardness, yes. But being friends after getting rejected is always possible. It really depends on what relationship both of you have before the rejection. If they're strangers, what you're saying is spot on but they weren't. Ig he just wanted more time to fully accept what has happened before, even tho there's Hae-in now, part of him was still trapped in the past. I bet he wanted to be fully healed before he opens the door to let Noona in again in his life.
But don't get me wrong, it always depends, there are people after getting rejected will cut all ties with that person regardless of what relationship they've had before. But with our MC's personality? Nah! It's obvious to me that he still wanted to be friends with Noona it's just that it's not possible NOW.
