@Rating Fox304493 People should learn what plot armor is actually. It's tiring to see this dumb comment everywhere.
Go read "My wif is a demon queen", you'll learn what is a plot armor (both for good and bad guys).
You can call it cringe but here this is not plot armor at all as even without the cringe part, there are dozens of reasons why the MC would not turn into a devil.

He is not from this world, didn't live an hellish life like all the others who became devils, he has friends, always stay composed, was already test when Cecily was kidnapped, he gift her tons of defensives artefacts, he killed devils, he understand why they choose to become one in their situation being oppressed, why in he** would he turn evil when there is absolutely nothing that would make sense for him to become one ?
