@Blackthorn_lp it really depends on the manhua. In some body refinement is the first stage and in others like this one qi refinement is the first. Most of them have manhayana realm or great ascension realm after which one becomes immortal. Immortals also have realms like the one you mensioned like erath immortal, heaven immortal etc most of which emd with immortal emperor, after which godhood comes.
@Blackthorn_lp Yeah, in many cases, this is just the phases for the mortal realm, before ascension into the g** realms. And like Vishel pointed out, body refinement isn't always a phase, but then later around the foundation establishment, the MC starts hitting a bottleneck because he lacks a good body refining skill. There's also sometimes extra phases. Golden Core and Nascent Soul are considered big power-up phases, so there might be a crystalization phase after foundation establishment to prepare for Golden core, and a spirit refining phase to to prepare for Nascent soul phase.
