@POOKIE It's pretty good tactic really. By getting away from whatever insanity the ruler has imposed. Her chances of survivial has gone way up. A ruler would have be pretty crazy to try killing her now. Because then his subjects would have a reason to hate him. Does not matter how powerful he thinks he is. The sheer numbers of those against him would insure his loss. A ruler cannot rule if no one wants to obey him.
