@lili Are you misremembering what happened? ML spent hours looking for the og guy but lost sight of him and then they were on winter break and none of the other kids knew where he was either. ML was also helping og when he was bullied too (he was the one to make the bully stop stealing og's money). He wasn't even his friend but he cared as much as any kid would for a classmate they aren't friends with (more than many do irl).
And don't forget that og was trying to blackmail him in the first place on that rainy day. ML is a kid too and shouldn't be responsible for another person who isn't his friend or family or under his care, esp when he never made og like that and he doesn't owe og anything either just bc og likes him. ML hadn't done anything wrong so far and it's weird how ppl aren't seeing that.
