I completed the novel and was so devastated by the end , ivonne fooled him into bringing her as the real daughter of eckarts and i know he was obsessed or something but according to his conditions and situations as a slave he only wanted to be happy with his master .. and ive been bawling my eyes out because he died in the end to protect our fl . i mean yeah callisto and fl are going to be happy in the end but what about the poor baby🥲
