@Sarah ⟭⟬ BTS ⟭⟬ I'm kinda confuse too, is she just acting dumb that she didn't know about it or just she simply forgot about their past together when they were kids.

@Yan xie she was around nine when they were betrothed. Shortly after her entire family was executed and she was locked in a tower to starve to death. The brand is from the usurpers. Then she was sold into slavery. So she doesn't recall the details of her fiance she had before everyone she loved was executed and hung from the castle walls. The hints are there she is just in denial that something like that could happen by chance. Also given she is from a fallen royal family if that were to get out they could hand her over to them for political power. The usurpers could killer her to solidify their reign. Her being alive gives her and her potential husband legitimacy to start a war to take the throne back from the treasonist usurpers
