In the novel Ellen KNEW that Freya was lying but still was on her side anyways and she also saw what happened and knew ruby was saying the truth but said NOTHING cause she wanted ruby to defend herself even though she knew how hard of a time ruby was going through she's such a horrible character for it and the fact she's the first one to know about ruby's eating disorder (out of all of them there) but still did that pis*** me off
