@twin towers destroyer When someone suffers abuse (especially when it's from a very young age), it becomes difficult for them to fight back. There is so much suffering that their psychological state cannot handle it and it is also a way of the brain to protecting themselves even tho its not the right way to handle the situation. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as an outsider to see the situation, find it ridiculous and fight back.
