@Gogo I wish I could say the same, but I guess that’s not how some people’s lives are, and you can’t just tell them to mind their own business because, at the end of the day, they’re your family, and if they’re not supportive, we can wind up ruining our relations by going against them. Even though we can just cut them off as adults, we care about them and appreciate everything they’ve done for us, so it’s not easy to do that. They don’t have entire control over us, but if they object, a few things like these—and sometimes even more significant ones—have to be sacrificed. And no, it’s never easy! :)
