@Places to be he's willing to give up his Kingdom to raise that child meaning that there will be no one else to protect and lead the citizens once he gives up his position putting the entire group of people he governs in danger and at risk of being killed off or enslaved... that's selfish

@Donut Shouldnt his own Child be far more important?
