Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I haven't had contact with my parents for a long time now. I tried, but there's no way back.
I did however, find the most amazing SO, it's because of her that I came out. 15 years together and counting. Her family adores me and that's good for me. Family isn't alway related by blood, but by how much you're loved and accepted.
