(This is my favorite arc) Raymond didn't really want to be lord he wanted to be a healer, the decision was hard for him, the king secretly went to check on him after the ceremony to find him drunk, he will tell him if he can't make up his mind he should give up early and don't drage people with him (jerk)
Raymond, drunk and angry, will tell him that he will stabilize it 3 months not 6, but in return he want an apology, this is the point where Raymond finally admitted to himself that he hated the king
Remerton was the one that gave he** to Raymond to stop him from becoming the feudal lord, he missed up bad at war and led a big number of soliders to their death nobody survived but him and fell out of grace, eventually his own mother will kick him out after she gets a bad tumor on her face and Raymond will rush to help her, while Remerton was disgusted of her
