@Lol I don't think her background matters to the barbarians. The king still wanted to marry her, which influenced the barbarian's king decision to marry her, to infuriate the other king. She has been very sheltered with suffering and maltreatment, which led her to the myopic decision she made, then lied to her husband. She couldn't see the bigger picture of things, neither does she have the knowledge. Her decision is understandable, but it is clearly wrong. I won't classify her personally as "weak", because I'm emotionally attached right now. But she has a long way to go. Knowledge to attain, trauma to overcome, confidence. Then no one would think or classify her as weak. Logically she is; emotionally, mentally, psychologically, financially and physically.

@Nana Hatake yes ur comment makes lots of sense, I just didn't delve much into it and just felt like if it was me who have been so suffocated and oppressed I'd be more rebellious. It's just a my personality thing. But yes I agree to ur comment so far.
