People are being truly disgusting in the comments on this series. Everyone can agree that her finding him disgusting or thinking that "he couldve actually wanted it/ stopped it cause hes a man" is widly insensitive and ignorant, but like many people pointed out shes a child, likely 16, that comes from a conservitive culture where gender roles are imposed. This doesnt excuse her line of thinking entirely but with the combination of being a child and growing up in a society that revolves around a conservitive narritive, sexual abuse (especially of a man) isnt likely talked about in open discussions. This probably isnt the first time most people reading have considered their views on a subject like this because in most western societies were able to have discussions about this, but for her this is likely the first time shes had to grapple with the idea of it, not to mention shes not reading/hearing this topic online but is presented it by someone she personally knows and cares for. Im not here to argue that shes right for thinking the way she currently is, but jesus yall are talking about her deserving the same thing he went through, its disgusting. Get a grip, an eye for an eye doesnt enlighten the world.
