an axe as a starter weapon because a sword is to complicated to handle for a beginner?

are you kidding me? a sword became popular all over the world because it's EASY to use and convenient to keep on person!

An axe would be a battle weapon because it's unwieldy and harder to use in everyday situations... ever thought about where to keep that axe? or tried to unsheath an axe in a fast manner?

draw your sword in half a second and slice the guy in pieces who try exactly that and needs up to 10 seconds depending on the sheathing method, where the axe is located while moving around etc

@RocketLinks the axe is recommended because shes already used to using one

Swords still require some practice to get good at using them

If she ever needs to have a weapon really quickly then the dagger is there

That's not my point, the point is how they explained it.

If they explained it like you said it wouldn't be an issue and this missing piece is what I want!

They never said: "Oh you have already experience with axes so we keep focusing on that"

They said: "Swords are harder to learn" and that's a lie

is it maybe a reupload from a different translator? because when I read it there was some implication that this could be the reason but they just stated that the "real" reason would be "swords are harder to learn" what is utter BS 🤷♂️

learning effectively fighting with an axe is much harder as you have a very restricted hitting area
