@BeautyIsPain Yes, exactly. The Author emphasizing that the drink culprit was Korean was no coincidence. Someone is out to ruin Jaekyung, which is not too far-fetched, given his history of being an a$$hole to ppl. My mind immediately goes to a jaded "ex-lover" or previous f*ck buddy (whatever you want to call his partners) - it could even be the guy from first chapters that he assaulted and kicked out when Doc Dan first came. Another possibility is that this could be someone from the MFC circle that Jaekyung has clashed with (and he prob has a laundry list of ppl). The possibilities are endless. What worries me the most is Doc Dan's safety in this changing climate around Jaekyung. He is already suffering the brunt, but even moreso, he is Jaekyung's weakness (I don't care what anyone says). Jaekyung may not admit/realize it, but Dan is his Achilles heel, and if something happened to him, he would lose his sh*t. We got a glimpse of this with Heesung coming into the picture and shaking things up for him. Typically in these stories, the "arch nemesis" of the MC or ML can often target someone close to them (a family member, lover, etc.) to try and rattle them/get back at them. I wouldn't be surprised if someone catches on to how "important" Doc Dan is to Jaekyung, then decides to target him directly. I'm gonna need Dan to remove himself, and get the confidence to get out, somehow. He's continually in a dangerous environment, first with Jaekyung and how abusive and unstable he is, and now with some outside factor gunning for Jaekyung.
