I would probably runaway if I'm 28 and my father still punish me with a stick LOL. He have the money, connections, but where are the guts?

@unknown it's Asian culture to be respectful to your elders especially parents, there's no such thing as 'give respect take respect' it's probably seems nonsensical but being older in age gives you automatic respect because lived longer=greater experience= more wise and in a country like Korea, age is a big deal that even the manner of talking, sitting, table manners and overall behaviour is supposed to be according to the company you have,
So yeah it makes sense that he isn't disobeying his father because it's actually an unknown concept to rebel lmao makes sense to me

So rather than 'why are you getting beaten at your big age' it should be 'why are you beating your son at his big age'
