@:3 Well I think in part it is a language barrier cuz every time we hear big sis we use our understanding of the phrase on the Western side. However, some Asian countries like Japan or Korea use these terms as honorifics or as a sign of respect for their elders. But I get what you say, though I still like the current way is portrayed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
