@Rui_Vs_ i think he went insane and i think he developed multiple personality disorder cause of it, probably because of his work as a writer getting overshadowed by newbie he started losing himself and his worth and that even though the was the case he was getting rewarded for it with a loving family, popularity and income.

@Rui_Vs_ okay so apparently the world was normal no invaders and etc,   and yellow ranger was a script writer working on a show 
his girlfriends family at the time actually had powers and they used her familys backstory as a basis for there show they were making so right now we are seeing how yellow keepers show ended up using his girlfriends familys power in some way to create the invaders and make the show real
