There was a similar case that happened in India. I don’t know exactly which place this was, but something like this happened—where parents killed their daughter because they believed she would come back to life the next day.
They actually believed in something related to this chapter, like previous life karma or some other belief. The police arrived—either because their other daughter or someone else reported it, or maybe because the father of the girl told his best friend about it. I don’t remember exactly what happened, but there were mainly two reasons why the police came that night.
Even after getting arrested, the parents still believed their daughter would come back to life the next morning. But obviously, when morning came, she remained dead. The mother then blamed the police, saying they were the reason her daughter didn’t come back to life because they had interrupted the ritual.
And you know what’s shocking? Both parents were professors. They were not illiterate people who would easily fall for such superstitions. So yeah, even after being educated, their minds were completely brainwashed.
