@maka they're both bad. I believe Choi in seob is worse between the two of them.
Wooyeon has a personality disorder. Thats not to say its an excuse, but it makes it understandable why he's like that. And honestly, if people left him alone, he probably wouldn't be so crazy. He's a jackass, but a lot of his more horrible actions seem to be reactive. People might punch someone and expect to be punched back (though some expect no consequences). Wooyeon's the type to just bury you for that punch. He doesn't have the capacity to care about societal rules.
Choi in seob seems a bit delusional. I felt like he was lying to himself. As much as his friend had a huge part in the story, it feels like he uses her death. He went alone to a foreign country to chase wooyeon. He had sent letters consistently throughout the years to him. We can love our friends in their deaths, but this felt like he was using her death to justify his obsessive love for wooyeon.
He was there to get dirt on wooyeon and ruin his reputation. But no matter what, he always protected wooyeon. It truly felt like he was insecure and waiting for wooyeon to look at him. He lingers when he knows he should leave. He waits, letting himself be degraded. Even knowing there's something wrong with wooyeon, he still loves him. Its only when gets tired that he thought he HAS to leave. But look, wooyeon is obsessed with him and feeling actual emotions over him. He can't leave now.
Choi in seob has a normal psychology. Between the two, he needs therapy more. Throughout the story, he plays the victim while 'hating wooyeon' but he got what he wanted in the end. His high school crush. Yes, he was SA'd. But in the context of this relationship, I feel like SA isn't the worse of it.
