His parents didn't die because of him though. He tried to stop it. As he said he was a CHILD, what happened falls on the adults. I don't think the father blames him because yes he was his son but he had no control. That would be my view at least. He wanted to go to the police and tell them everything but before he could his father convinced him that they were going to die because of him when in reality he planned to kill them anyway to get what he wanted.

@Bangchanslovergirl I think he is a bit, I think they will get through it. But it feels to me like he resents him not just because he kept the truth from him but because of what happened. I feel like he blames him a bit. I could be misinterpreting though.
