The 'swan' mentioned in the past is the said 'wandering knight'. Him and Miss Connie (not her real name), basically tricked Ragina (Leo's mom), and then poisoned her. Miss Connie isn't nice. The kids she send for adoption are actually being trafficked. All of this will be covered in the coming chapters.
