I think that the Demon Kings only feel offended by him disrespecting the standards, otherwise they seem to have somewhat unanimous agreement that the standards have become unpractical.

@RecklessSavage i mean the demon standards are like the bible for them . So if anybody dismisses it , it would be like blasphemy . The mc only dodged the bullet because he was top of the class and a special bloodline
@Unknown User Yes, but it doesn't mean that they will follow every single command of their bible. They may abandon it where they see it's disadvantages.
@RecklessSavage There's also the issue of whether it's being interpreted properly. We've only seen a very small part of what looks like a fairly thick tome.
