I connected the dots guys  I think they are making that strange mana react to Sol ,so it will look like he is the mastermind so they can start a war, so the other blondie (not lorkan) can take the crown, and lorkan can "take" ian back

@Calehenituselover make sense but I have another theory that lorkan and other blondie are messing with the mana of the dragons cradle to severe the covenant between ian and the dragon which lorkan was unable to do in the past.... but ur theory seem right
